You're the only one who can decide whether or not you want a union. Maybe you don't need one, but I have yet to see a contractor who couldn't be improved! So you be the judge.

YOU DON'T NEED A UNION IF......
.... you're paid enough that you aren't bothered by the skyrocketing cost-of-living.
.... you never worry about your family's needs and future security.
.... your job is secure enough to insure, for example that you'll be able to help your kids through college.
.... you've got the perfect job. There's nothing about it you'd change even if you had the chance.
.... your boss treats you with all of the respect you deserve.
.... you never have a complaint. Or, if you do, you don't have to worry about something happening- like being disciplined or getting fired - if you speak up for your rights.
.... your pay and fringe benefits are guaranteed in a written, legally binding contract.

Those are might big ifs. And if they are all true about your job, you don't need a union.

BUT DO YOU NEED A UNION?
